TidyHomePicks exists for one reason: there's too much stuff, and most "best of" lists are just affiliate links in a trench coat. We test products ourselves, compare them honestly, and only recommend the ones that earn their place in a calmer, tidier home.

How we test

Every roundup starts with research — bestsellers, reader requests, and trending finds. We then buy or borrow the top contenders and put them through the same real-world tests: performance, capacity, noise, durability, and how easy they are to live with and clean.

Scores are based on hands-on use, not specs on a box. When a budget option beats a premium one, we say so. When nothing's worth buying, we say that too.

How we stay independent
